![]() To my mind the Gloves are one of easycares best products and an awful lot cheaper. I can't see much to get over excited about the Furies, or that they are going to do anything the Gloves can't. The application process is not incredibly difficult although getting the heel strap in. I wanted a positive first booting experience and the Easyboot Epic is a good place to start. It is forgiving in fit and designed for longer trimming cycles, such as the 6-8 week trim cycle Pistol is on currently. You may need a mallet for the gloves if you like them tight. The first boot I tried was the Easyboot Epic. You don't need a mallet for button fastenings, the button fastenings (which are the scoots) are the easiest to put on. I am considering a pair of those ATM rather than more epics. If I wanted to go with this design I would consider Floating boots which have been on the market for a lot longer. The only Fury I would consider was the Heart for the reason that you could buy the neoprene liner to protect the heels (as an extra) A large number of horses get away perfectly happily with Scoots but some don't. That is in the same way the scoots have the potential to rub. To my mind the furies could rub based on the back straps. They are often quick to release new lines before all the kinks are sorted. I used to get excited when they announced a new design then I learnt otherwise. There is nothing revolutionary about them and in fact there never has been about easycare new lines. I have now looked at all the videos and comments on the furies in great detail (as I was wondering about them) I shan't be getting any partly because I cannot see anything new with them, it appears to be easycare just recycling the same shell idea with a new upper and an expensive price tag. In your case that would not matter as you can trim mid cycle if you wish. The only "new" thing I can see in the Furies is the ability to extend the length so that they fit throughout the trimming cycle. If they were longer surely that would be more the case. Click to expand.I don't see the sole will extend behind the heels if the feet are wider. ![]()
